ABOUT KATRINA
Katrina Kusa started her young career as a children’s book author. She has been writing since the age of 8 (when she turned her playroom into a library), and she’s been writing ever since. Katrina loves to create magical stories. Katrina’s first book, The Kingdom of the Lizards, is a fantasy children’s book inspired by her love of nature and our environment.
Katrina has a heart for people and nature and hopes to share her message of how to love and respect each other and to see beauty in our natural surroundings. The Kingdom of the Lizards is her first book, published when she was just 12 years old. She is currently working on her second-There Once Was a Cat.
Recently, Katrina has been focusing on acting and has been cast in several commercials and has attended a prestigious acting camp in London, England!

In a beautiful small town full of lovely gardens with pretty trees and luminescent flowers, Clara reads day in and day out to little lizards under her favorite oak tree. Until one day when Daniel, a boy in her class, captures a lizard unlike any other and suddenly all of her lizard friends lives are in danger....
This fantasy children's book is unique in that it was authored by Katrina Kusa when she was just 10 years old. Katrina's writing has been nationally recognized in the field of juvenile fiction, including a 2017 Bronze medal President’s Book Award from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association.
