​Katrina Kusa is a teen children’s book author who has been writing since the age of 8 (when she turned her playroom into a library).  Katrina loves to create magical stories.  The Kingdom of the Lizards by Katrina Kusa is a fantasy children’s book inspired by the author’s love of nature and protecting the world around us for future generations. This book is also meant to encourage other young children’s authors to write and publish now instead of waiting until they are older.

Katrina has a heart for people and nature and hopes to share her message of how to love and respect each other and to see beauty in our natural surroundings. Kingdom of the Lizards is her first book, and is available through Archway Publishing. Katrina Kusa is currently working on her second children’s book-There Once Was a Cat. Additionally, she has another book that is geared toward preteen readers titled, Girl in the White Dress. She plans to publish that book in 2020.

When she’s not writing fantasy children’s books, Katrina loves to write and play music, travel, and spend time with her family.
